(LeN- Nov. 21, 8.00 p.m.) The Editor of Dinamina Mr. C. Dodawatta was removed from his post with immediate effect yesterday. Though the authorities have not given any reason, unofficial sources report that Dodawatta was removed for reporting the Presidents Birthday incorrectly and failure to report the important news of Presidents order to open A-9 highway is Dinamina.
Mr. Dodawatta was the third to be removed form Dinamina editor post, since President Rajapakse assuming officer.
A communiqué issued by the free media movement says that in state media one could work only for Rajapaksas and no other. |
