JVP Somawansa Faction assaults Lanka e News journalist
(Lanka-e-News, 2008 April 21, 7.15 PM) A group of JVP Somawansa Faction members attacked Lanka-e-News journalist Shantha Wijesuriya today (21) near Hulftsdorp courts.
Mr. Wijesuriya was reporting the case against Trincomalee district JVP MP Jayantha Wijesekara who was released on bail today after being held in remand for hijacking two vehicles belonged to JVP Weerawansa Faction MPs.

The JVP Somawansa Faction cadres blocked Lanka-e-News journalist from photographing MP Wijesekara and the two suspect drivers were brought to courts and later the thugs attacked the journalist.

The same journalist was intimidated at the press conference held by the Somawansa Faction after MP Wimal Weerawansa broke away from the party. He was not allowed to report the press conference held to announce the crossover of MP Sujatha Alahakoon from Weerawansa Faction to Somawansa Faction. JVP leader Somawansa Amarasinghe blamed Lanka-e-News at a television programme later.

At least now you have understood, you have a bigger threat than than "Para Demalo". Thanks to Dr.Merwin and MR an the Political Thugs. You fools have spent over 80 billion dollars on war over 25 years to kill and suppress the minorities. If you had spent, 1% of that for the welfare of Srilankan people, all of us would lived in harmony. Srilanka would have been better place than Singapore. Today, after spending 80 Billion Dollar, you have to live in fear, being beaten up by your own 'Sinhala Modayas". Kings Justice is instant. God's not ! For all the Sins that you committed against Tamils you have live with Gods justice - Forever. You modayas will not get killed, you will bleed to death.
