LTTE attacks Muhamalai and a number of places in Jaffna
(Lanka-e-News, October 31, 2008, 7.10 PM) Media Center for National Security (MCNS) says that an undisclosed number of Army personnel were killed and another undisclosed number of personnel were injured in fighting and attacks in Jaffna and Kilinochchi yesterday and today.
LTTE occasionally shelled Eluththumaduval, Vempothukerny, Kannirathan and Muhamalai areas yesterday (30) and several Army personnel were killed by them, by mortar and light weaponry attacks and by anti-personnel mines, said MCNS.

MCNS further said that several more personnel were killed and injured in clashes in Pandividdikulam in Kilinochchi. MCNS added that the LTTE cadres also received heavy casualties.

Militarily defeated LTTE according to the MCNS, confined to the Wanni,inflicting casulties on the Forces far north off Wanni in Muhamalai, shelling motars from the heavy armoured vehicles currently in their possesion that were removed from our Army camps when they fell. Do not worry folks Killinochchi is only 1000 meters away once the budget is presented in parliament it will be captured. Then the MR govt. will announce that the LTTE is defeated at last by President MR where no other leader was capable of doing so before. It is the innocent village boys who have paid with their lives for this hoax of a war, staged by the green card holding Americans carring the brief for George Bush for the US to relise their 'American Dream'.

Why, why, why. Chinthanaya has proved that we are modayas. Who is getting killed - all are Sri Lankans. The final result will be through a negotiated settlement and all those who have sacrificed their lives to motherlanka will have to wait until they are reborn in Sri Lanka to celebrate. This is what the Chinthanaya is doing. Please, please, Sri Lankans wake up atleast now. This war will never be finished unless there is a negotiatedc settlement. Then who will compensate the families of the martyrs. GOSL will say that it was due to the war. If the GOSL started the war, finish this damn thing within a few weeks without going for any other settlements. If not pack your bags and go back to USA leaving the pure Sri Lankans who haven't surrendered their Sri Lankan identity to settle this problem. Please do not fool the innocent Sinhalese for political survival.
