(Lanka-e-News, March 20, 2009, 1.15 PM) A street book vendor in Mathara bus stand has informed police yesterday (19) that the person who launched a suicide attack at the mosque in Godapitiya, Akuressa was a disabled man earned a living by begging in Mathara bus stand.

The book vendor has told the police that he met the person publicized through posters as the suicide bomber nine days ahead of the incident as he was begging in busses. The suspect was around 25 years old, said the book vendor.
One arm and a leg of the beggar were disabled and one leg was bandaged said the book vendor adding that he had told to him that he was a father of three kids. |
