| Tipp ex episode suspects file Court action against undated resignation letters taken |

(Lanka-e-News 31.March.2010 11.25PM) UNP Moneragala district M P Madduma Bandara and Uva province UNP M P Ananda Kumarasiri filed a petition on the 30th in the District Court against the undated resignation letters taken by UNP leader Ranil Wickremesinghe through the Gen. Secretary in February .
The petitioners requested the Court to declare that these letters are void. |

These two petitioners are UNP candidates for the Moneragala District who have been charged for altering the nomination list handed over by the party Secretary for submission to the elections Commissioner . They have allegedly removed the name of Tissa Kuttiarachi from the list and interpolated another. They are facing disciplinary inquiries in this regard. |
