| Prabhakaran’s Velvetithurai parental house damaged and destroyed |

(Lanka-e-News 30.April.2010 5.00AM) Tamil National freedom alliance M K Sivajilingam said, the house of LTTE leader Velupillai Prabhakaran where he lived in his young days situated at Aladi Lane , Velvetiturai has been damaged and destroyed.
His party had made a request to the President on the 12th of April not to destroy the house, yet , a few days later demolishing the house commenced . Now there is just rubble that is remaining in that place , he noted.
Because a large number of people who come from the South to the North make it a point to go and see the house of Prabhakaran , Govt. security forces had barred their visiting . The destruction of the house occurred after that decision , He will be making a written complaint to the President in regard to this wanton destruction , Sivajilingam added. |

Meanwhile, Prabhakaran’s mother who was refused entry to India, and is now in Malaysia , is making arrangements to go to her daughter residing in Canada. In case that is unsuccessful, Prabhakaran’s mother will have to be brought back to SL in the next two or three months, Sivajilingam observed. |
