| Advisory panel need not visit SL says UN Sec. General’s spokesperson |

| –panel is not a fact finding or investigative Body |

(Lanka-e-News 28.June.2010 11.55PM) Martin Nesirky , the spokesman for the UN Secretary General , stated it is up to the Advisory panel to decide whether it should visit SL. Being not a fact finding or an investigative mission , there exists no necessity to visit SL.
Nesirky gave this answer when he was told that it was unfortunate that SL announced that no visas will be issued for the panel of experts to visit this country .
