MR is formally taking over the position of VP

Holding the Cabinet meeting in the LTTE Peace Secretariat in Kilinichchi shows a certain insensitivity towards the Tamil community, an attitude of the Victor against the Vanquished. This kind of action does not help in promoting the much needed re-conciliation among communities. Perhaps the current leadership does not have the interlect to realise this.

SF perhaps sat on that seat before but both acts are rather stupid immature.President should stay put and run the country. If I am the President of SL,I would stay put in Temple trees night and day doing my bit for the country and as the CEO of the country I may not have enough time in the day to eat or sleep let alone going around the world and country in a circus like fashion. This a typical stupidity of the third world politics, where the chief surround himself with security personal in a circus like fashion, wasting time and taxpayer's money not in character to a matured country. There are so many burning issues in the country and have never been tackled by the politicians.
