It is reported that those within the Govt. have got divided into three factions behind Basil Rajapakse, Gotabaya Rajapakse and Naamal Rajapakse. Many of those who were earlier backing Basil Rajapakse are now with the Naamal faction. Owing to this division into three Rajapakses, the activities of the Govt. are in a disarray, sources say.
When one of the Govt. M P s was asked about this chaos and confusion, he only shook his head and gave no answer. |

At the time when the Cabinet Ministers were appointed, many senior Ministers were marginalized leading to their bitter disillusionment .This disappointment is apparently escalating. Though these Ministers have not aligned themselves behind any of the Rajapakses, they are however performing their tasks without much interest or devotion, it is reported. All these are only contributing to the detriment of the country. |
