(Lanka-e-News- 02.Feb.2016, 9.45PM) Two more robed monks who created bedlam on the court premises when Gnanassara was remanded, and voluntarily invited incarceration were today remanded by the Homagama magistrate . The two robed monks are Mangalkande Sudhantha Thera and Badalkumbure Ariyashantha Thera of the Sihala Ravaya alias ‘Gava Ravaya’
Earlier on Gnanassara Thera agitated to get the murderers of Ekneliyagoda released, and ended locked up in remand prison on contempt of court charges. These two monks on the other hand misbehaved in court demanding the release of Gnanassara , and got themselves locked up in remand prison today. Therefore , signing petitions and shaving the heads will be unavailing because the primary request of these stupid robed monks who are a disgrace to pristine Buddhism was for their own incarceration on that day.
A further group was yesterday remanded by acting magistrate ,Homagama, Sudharshana Suriyaperuma . That group comprised of a three wheel driver K.Kamal Shantha, Mahesh Prasantha and Sena Kumara . This group had on the day Gnanassara was remanded , made the hallowed court into a ‘Thovil pola’ . This group of hoodlums who were remanded until the 9 th are also to be subjected to an identification parade on that day.
It is worthy of note, on the day Gnanassara committed contempt of court , he most rudely threatened Ms. Sandya Ekenliyagoda , and even when he was being taken to the prison escorted by prison officers , Gnanassara again threatened Sandya in public. Under these circumstances she is in a situation that warrants security for her own protection.
