(Lanka-e-News -09.Feb.2016, 8.00PM) The atrocious attempt made by Rajapakse’s bootlicking stooge Suhadha Gamlath the acting Attorney General (AG) to withdraw senior State counsel Dileepa Peiris from the Ekneliyagoda case had come a cropper , and his conspiracy had turned into a damp squib. That is Dileepa Peiris has been re assigned to the case.
When the conspiracy to withdraw Dileepa Peiris and appoint a junior newcomer state counsel in his place was exposed promptly by the media , and with the intervention of the SL Bar Association , Gamlath had got cold feet and turned jittery . He had phoned Dileepa late in the last night and informed him to appear in Ekneliyagoda case on 9th morning , while sending back the relevant file which was withdrawn from him.
Based on this blunder alone Suhadha Gamlath has proved beyond doubt he is not competent to be the AG .
