-Arjun Mahendran had spoken to MPs to form separate UNP govt.
(Lanka-e-News- 03.July.2016, 11.30PM) Arjun Mahendran alias Bond Mahendran who got thrown out from the post of Governor , Central bank based on charges of wasting public funds on his dress costing millions of rupees , and his involvement in the corruption in league with his son in law in the sale of treasury bonds , has started a sly campaign inimical to the national government saying, ‘this will not do, we must form a separate UNP government’ to the UNP backbenchers and MPs.
Bond Mahendran who is today seeking to form a separate UNP government , on the 8 th of January 2015 was nowhere close to the Rajapakse regime’s alliance campaign , and did not spend even a few cents for a plain tea on their behalf.
It is this same Bond Mahendran who did not even lift a finger to rescue his pal ‘Mr. Clean’ Ranil Wickremesinghe (who is presently trying to whitewash the reputation of Bond Mahendran) ,when Sajith and Maharajas were stoning Sri Kotha , and NGO crook Shiral and Maharajas were involved in the shooting incident in a desperate attempt to chase away ‘Mr. Clean’ from the post of leader of UNP .
Now , it is this same Mahendran who is trying to form a separate UNP government alone.
Sadly , there are two such individuals with the same belly ache under president Maithripala Sirisena too.
The two scoundrels are Shiral Lakthileke the NGO crook cum slimy fox who shot himself on the main road on behalf of Rajapakases and Maharajas then , and Malith Jayatileke who crept via the national list as M.P. like a bolt from the blue . Though only an individual with some standing should be appointed via the National list ,Jayathileke on the other hand had nothing at all worth even to prop him honorably or claim honestly in his honor.
The only thing he does well is enlarging the pot belly of a book by writing the same thing over and over again . It is indeed a wonder how or why President fell into this buffoon’s trap and tomfooleries. These are the rascals who always chant ‘ this won’t come right , we must form a separate SLFP government’
All these belly ache patients of both sides have only one need. That is, they want to open the floodgates for them to rob without hindrance. To the SLFP rogues , the prime minister is an impediment. To the UNP rogues , the president is an impediment in this direction. Naturally therefore to these rogues , a separate government is most essential.
The people’s representatives who are likely to be deceived by these rogues and their associates must be warned ahead and the true picture should be made clear to them ….
Maithripala Sirisena was appointed as president on the votes of a majority of the people. He clearly said during elections , he would not resign from the post of secretary of the SLFP. Hence , when the people voted for him it was not unknown that he was the SLFP secretary.
Ranil Wickremesinghe was made the Prime Minister on 17 th August 2015 on the votes of the majority of the people. it was to make him the P.M. that people voted, so that the SLFP secures less seats and the UNP more. During the run up to the elections and in the election manifesto it was stated , after the victory , the UNP will join with the SLFP and form a national government.
When that is the factual situation , the people did not vote without knowing the true position or the likely trajectory. Besides, both the president and the P.M. faced the same election based on people’s votes . In the circumstances , the present national government is not a product of some worthless invaluable blokes . It is a national government elected on the valuable wishes of the people and they have been given a mandate by the majority .
Hence , to suit the whims and fancies of crooks , rascals and the corrupt , a separate government cannot be formed , because that will be running counter to the people’s wishes, and it is a gross violation of Democratic tenets.
Indeed what should be done by those who have a true love for the country is not pitting the president against the P.M., and vice versa, or driving a wedge between them , rather unite with the two honest chiefs of the country and seek expeditious solutions to the main issues. The appointment of or removal of a Central bank governor is not the key issue. Much more important issues can be resolved only by the alliance government that was installed on the wishes of the majority of the people. Those who are not falling in line with this , and are acting outside this agenda are undoubtedly traitors.
