Establish a ‘special court’ for these fraudsters and stop the spurious grandiose dramas – Prof. Sarath Wijesuriya (video)

(Lanka-e-News -18.July.2016, 11.30PM)  ‘When witnessing  the manner in which cases are filed ; the manner in which times are allocated for   cases ; the individuals on the court premises who are linked to those cases , and are  proudly  claiming ‘our government has come’ when cases are being postponed twice or thrice , we are led to believe that a nonsensical  legal melodrama is being enacted.’

This drama somewhat is on the face of it  produced and staged ,propped and prodded by  the power of wealth , because  no one has been sentenced so far despite charges of corruption and frauds being mounted  and cases filed against the culprits even after the government has been in existence for nearly two years  , the convener of the movement for just society professor Sarath Wijesuriya  issuing a special statement on behalf of the civil societies revealed while informing Lanka e news that they are requesting  the government to establish a special court to hear cases of frauds and corruption to enforce the laws against the culprits and duly mete out punishment .‘

There is no legal bar against the establishment of  a special court , and from 18 th July , all the civil forces will be going around the country  to whip up support for the establishment of the special court  ,the professor revealed.

Is it not a fact that US made an outright Grant of 46 Million US Dollars for the specific purpose of Fighting corruption? What has Wijedasa Rajapaksea done thus far - nothing! This is the curse of GG.

The only reason the government is backtracking could be because they too are thinking of robbing and do not want a future government to investigaye them,.

Dear Professor Wijesuriya, Please stop asking for the impossible- i.e. special courts for fraudsters including fraudster-juducial officers Instead please devote your hard-earned energies for putting together an academically sound airtight argument for building more streamlined prison hospitals to admit fraudsters. In addition, please remember to make a fervent and believable appeal for such a hospital or hospitals are equipped with a top notch chef and a top-of-the-line kitchen serving 5-star prison meals so that any fraudsters don't have to lose weight because their poor old fathers are too busy to trudge a long way every day carrying home-prepared tasty packeted breakfasts, lunches and dinners.
