(Lanka-e-News- 12.June.2015, 11.30PM) The distribution of dual citizen certificate which many foreign resident Sri Lankan’s were eagerly waiting for was jointly distributed today by the Ministry of foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Public Peace and Christian Affairs at the foreign affairs ministry auditorium yesterday 11th.
Foreign affairs minister Mangala Samaraweera and public peace & Christian Affairs Minister John Amarathunga, the director General of Immigration M. N. Ranasinghe, secretary to the foreign ministry Chitranganie Wagishchara and the additional secretary to the Christian affairs ministry Chulananda Perera were presented.
The former Rajapaksa regime suspended the dual citizenship and obtained large money underhand and gave the dual citizenship to selected people and created a business racket.
