Deputy secretary to treasury says deputy defense secretary’s newspaper is absolutely lying about country’s economy

(Lanka-e-News- 23.June.2015, 11.30PM) The deputy secretary to the general treasury of the Finance ministry S .R. Attygalla convening an emergency media  meeting this evening (22) revealed that the Financial Times of the Sunday Times belonging to the deputy minister of defense of the government  Ruwan Jayawardena ,reported a totally bogus news in its headlines pertaining to the present government in its  column on economic news . The deputy secretary said , the newspaper of the deputy minister of defense has published a news canard regarding the country’s economy. 

It is the consensus , because of this false report ,  the people are harboring doubts that   Ruwan Wijewardena who is a relative  of  prime minister Ranil Wickremesinghe , via this false report is trying to topple the government .
