(Lanka-e-News -16.Aug.2015, 9.00pM) As Lanka e news warned so it is happening ! another Medamulana produced LTTE duppi bomb had exploded yesterday night at about 11.00 p.m. , in the vicinity of the residences of two Tamil candidates of Jaffna contesting elections , two duppies had been hurled which had caused a lot of noise. The leaders of the political parties have lodged complaints with the police. However no harm had been caused to person or property.
Even after police media spokesman made an official statement that these are not bombs and were some explosive items like crackers making a huge noise , the sordid and unscrupulous frontline media in Sri Lanka which is now a peaceful country sans LTTE have reported irresponsibly as ‘bomb explosions in Jaffna.’
Meanwhile the Elections commissioner had warned , the police are vested with powers to even shoot at individuals, factions and groups who obstruct the conduct of peaceful elections
When Lanka e news inquired from a high ranking police officer about these explosions in the recent past , the police officer after a hearty laugh said , ‘these are Medamulana produced LTTE duppies’, and when we asked who is behind this mischief , he replied ‘ why Hendavitharanes, our former Wakishtas, and Chandra Fernandos are still with Gotabaya Lokka. Hence they have with them experts who can produce bombs much better than these – they can turn out bombs exactly like those of the LTTE ‘
