(Lanka-e-News- 17.Aug.2015, 3.00PM) Today is the day of general elections in Sri Lanka .The survey done yesterday with the collaboration of the media and based on a natural collective analysis district wise , the forecasts as at yesterday evening have now been released. According to that forecast the UPFA is only winning in Moneragala district.
District wise ,based on the approximate number of votes that will be received by each party and the number of seats that will be won as a whole, and the ratio of seats that will be allocated via the national list , according to the independent survey are as follows :
United national Front -108 seats ; National list 15 –total 123 seats
United people’s Freedom Alliance -61 seats ; national list 09 seats –total 70 seats
Janatha Vimukthi Peramuna -12 seats ; national list 02 seats-total 14 seats
Tamil National Alliance - 12 seats ; national list 02 seats –Total 14 seats
Miscellaneous -remaining : 3 seats ;national list 01 seat –total 04 seats
