(Lanka-e-News -02.Sep.2015.11.30PM) Maithripala Sirisena became president of Sri Lanka (SL) after solemnly promising before the people that he would act sans party politics if he becomes the president . It is also an incontrovertible fact that he was made president of Sri Lanka (SL) on the votes cast by the people against Rajapakse led SLFP and with the absolute and unstinted support of the political parties UNP, JVP, JHU, Democratic party , Muslim Congress , Tamil alliance, Sama Samaja Communist alternative groups ,as well as the movement for just society, Citizen’s Force, Aluth Parapura , Trade unions, artistes, civil and professional societies. Today he commemorated the 64 th birth anniversary of the SLFP at Polonnaruwa his native place seating the same Mahinda Rajapakse who he rejected as corrupt and brutal , in his rear quarters , and whispering sweet nothings in Mahinda’s ears.
Maithripala who wriggled himself up into the president position on the votes and support of the aforementioned forces aligned against the SLFP , became the president of the SLFP party because of the SLFP constitution. Today Maithripala trampling ruthlessly the solemn promises he gave those who propped and propelled him to the president post . He had at the SLFP commemoration , chewed those promises like betel leaves and spat them out, while most disgracefully getting Duminda Silva the most abhorred politico scorned and spurned by all law abiding people who respect moral values ,on stage . Maithripala ‘elevated’ the notorious scoundrel Duminda to a ‘height’ in a manner that even the photographers taking photgraphs felt ashamed to look at .
Hirunika Premachandra who stood by Maithripala then and against Duminda who was aligned with Mahinda Rajapakse , is today driven into a position where even her SLFP membership is cancelled. The group that formed the SLFP rescue organization then and came forward to make Maithripala the president is today not even invited to the SLFP commemoration . So ,that is Maithripala the so called crusader against crimes , corruption and crookedness, and who makes loud and proud announcements against brutal , corrupt and crooked politicos who are plentiful in his own party .
A large number of corrupt and crooked chiefs of State bodies and corporations appointed during the Mahinda Rajapakse tenure of office ( Alibaba and den of thieves era) who transformed the government establishments and corporations into dens of thieves being present at today’s commemoration with protruded tongues anticipating official appointments under the united government was something deplorably noteworthy .
Like how Mahinda Rajapakse wasted large amounts of public funds at functions focusing only on Hambantota his native place after he became the president , Maithripala too today was most profligate spending wastefully at his native place , Polonnaruwa getting down hordes of people from Colombo.
A former president of Sri Lanka Chandrika Bandaranaike Kumaratunge , the SLFP advisor who toiled hard to elevate Maithripala to what he is -the president of the country , did not attend this commemoration . She had gone to India to meet the Indian P.M.
Miathripala who addressed the conference , keeping corrupt brutal Rajapakses , the other corrupt rascals and the crooks on stage said ‘ the SLFP should be completely reformed and with a new face march forward ; a new party should be built.’ This announcement only made the whole country to laugh at him and his announcement vis a vis his conduct .
Instantly he became the butt of ridicule and contempt. Maithripala also said , everyone must be aware of the international and local challenges and the attendant issues. Everyone should rally together in the future to capture the ruling power, he added.
Kili Maharaja’s TV channel taking special pains to telecast the convention live was most intriguingly noteworthy.

Hello ENews boys and girls, men and women wait and see 5 years on whether the Prez will keep to his biggest promise-to stand down after one year in office.I think the new baby face he is talking about is none other than the plastic surgery other face of Mahindra i.e. his backside we will see in 5 years.
