(Lanka-e-News -25.Sep.2015, 11.00PM) Sri Lanka’s foreign minister Mangala Samaraweera who is toiling hard to rebuild the international image of the country , yesterday (24) occupied the front coveted seat at the Commonwealth foreign ministers conference.
A number of countries of the commonwealth held their foreign ministers’ conference in conjunction with the sessions of the UN main general assembly which is under way during these days, and this conference was attended by the foreign ministers of the commonwealth.
Mangala Samaraweera also had discussions with Kamalesh Sharma , the secretary general of the commonwealth
