(Lanka-e-News -19.Oct.2015, 5.45PM) Thamilini alias Nadaraja Shivahami , who was for some time the LTTE organization women’s political division leader passed away 17th at the cancer hospital, Maharagama.
Residents of Paranthan , Kilinochchi revealed that Thamilini was ailing from cancer for some time ,and was receiving medical treatment.
When the war concluded , Thamilini surrendered to the security forces ,and was released subject to rehabilitation terms and conditions following imprisonment. In 2014, after rehabilitation at the Poonthottam rehabilitation center , she was released.
43 years old Kamilini is a permanent resident of Paranthan , Kilinochchi .According to Kilinochchi hospital sources , she was undergoing treatment for cancer for quite some time.
Paranthan residents revealed , her remains will be taken to Paranthan from Maharagama , where the funeral ceremony will be conducted with the participation of relatives.
