(Lanka-e-News - 15.May.2018, 11.00AM) The media minister who instructed the chiefs of the media Institutions under him to resign following the final cabinet reshuffle had appointed three members of the fairer sex as chiefs replacing some of them.
The new chairpersons of SL Rupavahini Corporation, ITN and Selacine are Inoka Sathyangani a film director , Thilaka Jayasundara of the administrative service , and Uma Rajamanthri who is an expert in the field of advertising ,respectively.
Siddeek Mohomed Farook who was appointed as chairman of the SLBC by Mangala Samaraweera after he became the minister continues in the post .
