Although we provide free news, we incur a cost to maintain it. Censorship in Sri Lanka prevents us from generating revenue through advertisements. Google has to generate revenue only through ads. But now the revenue from Google ads has also dropped drastically.
As of today, we have not been able to pay our server fees for 2 months. Accordingly, they have sent red notices to suspend Lanka e News server facility.
