Suresh Salleh admitted to the National Hospital..!

-By A Staff Writer

(Lanka-e-News -2026.March.26, 5.00 A.M.) Former State Intelligence Chief (retired) Major General Tuan Suresh Salleh, who has been named as a suspect in the Easter attacks and is currently being questioned by the CID under a 90-day detention order under the Prevention of Terrorism Act, was admitted to the Colombo National Hospital yesterday (25) due to a sudden illness.

He had developed an ear infection due to prolonged use of cotton buds to clean his ears and was receiving treatment. After being informed of Salleh's condition due to increased ear pain, the Magistrate visited the CID, examined Salleh, and later referred him to a doctor. It is reported that he has been admitted to the National Hospital as per the medical advice.

Gammanpila's stories are false..

Although Udaya Gammanpila, posing as Suresh Salleh's lawyer, claimed in recent media conferences that Sale was being tortured in the CID and that he was being pressured to commit suicide, Sale did not tell the Magistrate any of those allegations when Suresh Sale was examined by the Magistrate yesterday. If there was a need, Sale had the opportunity to tell the Magistrate such a grievance, but he did not say anything like that.

However, it is also reported that the family members have requested permission to examine Sale's condition, but approval has not been granted.
