Somawansa forms party ‘Janatha sevaka party’ and becomes its leader – castigates JVP now

(Lanka-e-News- 28.June.2015, 7.30PM) Somawansa Amarasinghe the erstwhile pensioned JVP leader by now widely considered as a spent force ,after leaving the JVP has launched a party in the name of ‘Janatha sevaka party’ , and has appointed himself as its leader. The maiden meeting was held this morning at New Town hall , Colombo.

While giving a tremendous publicity to the new party name , what he did most was castigating the JVP. ‘The JVP has abandoned their duties and responsibilities; the JVP was founded not to have dealings with casino magnates, black marketers, illicit weapon dealers , but now it is clear they are having transactions with them ,’ Somawansa accused.

Somawansa also went on to accuse that Anura Kumara Dissanayake is not uttering a single word against these individuals he referred to above , and the JVP is therefore being led blindfolded politically .Moreover they are only obsessed with collecting monies and not winning over the masses, he claimed. In this manner Somawansa furiously criticized the party with which he worked throughout his almost full life time.

Somawansa’s new party is not yet registered with the elections commission , and hence cannot contest at the up coming elections. In the circumstances , the only thing Somawansa can do is however hard he strives is , deprive one or two votes that will be polled by the JVP.

It is significant to note in this small Island , there are countless number of political parties that are noted for their inadequacy of members , and a majority of them are rudderless and aimless leftist parties . These potty parties having nothing to do worthwhile for the country , any individual or even itself are mostly led by individuals suffering from senile decay who have lost their utility not only within the party even on earth. Even the overgrown beard on the hideous face of one such leader is cursing him for not trimming it and cleansing the filth , for he spends all his time on scolding other politicos in filth . These are parties who waste their time and of others by indulging day in and day out by criticizing and insulting others.
