Aggrieved hapless parents left helpless , ‘ Lanka e news ‘courts inside information division’ is in receipt of another sordid and shameless activity of notorious Supreme court (SC) judge Upali Abeyratne dubbed rightly as ‘Pissu Poosa’ (mad cat) by the legal fraternity , who is aiding and abettiing the Visakha Vidyalaya old girls’ mafia .
A parent of a child who was denied admission to Visakha despite possessing all the eligibility requirements but obstructed by the old girls mafia and the corrupt principal of the school had filed a petition in the SC , and only the verdict remains to be delivered on it.
Unbelievably this Pissu poosa of a judge Abeyratne had exerted intense pressure on Sisira Abrew who is one of the judges in the SC panel hearing this case . Pissu Poosa who has acquired a tremendous notoriety in the sphere of sly and surreptitious activities , and stooping to the lowliest of levels even going to the extent of abusing his official position has compelled Abrew to deliver the judgment in favor of the School mafia, its learnt. In the circumstances , it is the responsibility of the judges to maintain the dignity of the sacrosanct courts when there are corrupt unscrupulous judges like Pissu Poosa in their midst who conduct themselves most shamelessly and disgracefully even going so far as to pressurize judges who are disciplined and moderate .
This Pissu Poosa judge Abeyratne‘s two daughters , namely Mihiri Abeyatne and Isiri Abeyratne are activists in the Visakha Vidyalaya old girls association, while Lilanthi Aluvihara the wife of Buvaneka Aluvihara the other SC judge is a powerful official in the association. Because of their vested interests to the detriment of the school , these two judges are tumbling over others to hear the fundamental rights petitions filed by parents who are aggrieved at the injustice meted out to them over denial of admission to their children to the school . Lanka e news in its earlier report exposed how these shameless judges with sordid overriding traits despite being judges of the SC , are favoring the Vidyalaya old girls mafia by delivering erroneous and one sided judgments on these cases .
